These Terms and Conditions govern your use of traveltangy.ca (the "Website") and your purchase of travel services from Flights Scanner Inc., operating as Travel-O-Tangy ("Travel-O-Tangy", "we", "us" or "our"), 6703 98 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T6A 0A4, IATA TIDS 96205303. By using the Website or booking with us, you agree to these Terms


1. Our role as a travel agent
Travel-O-Tangy acts as an intermediary between you and the airlines, hotels, tour operators, consolidators and other suppliers ("Suppliers") that provide travel services. We do not own or operate airlines, hotels or tours. Your travel contract for the services themselves is with the Supplier, and the Supplier's own terms, fare rules and conditions of carriage apply in addition to these Terms.

2. Quotes, availability and pricing
• Fares and prices shown on the Website or quoted by phone, email or message are subject to availability and may change until your booking is confirmed and ticketed
•Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise. Taxes, airport fees and surcharges are included in the total unless indicated.
•A booking is confirmed only when we send you a written confirmation or e-ticket. Quotes are not guarantees.
•Airlines may adjust fares, taxes or fuel surcharges before ticketing. If this happens, we will tell you before proceeding and you may accept or decline the new price.
•We make reasonable efforts to keep Website content accurate. If an obvious error in price or description occurs, we may correct it and give you the choice to proceed at the correct price or cancel with a full refund of amounts paid.

3. Service fees
We may charge a service fee for booking, changing, canceling or reissuing travel. Any service fee will be disclosed to you before you pay. Service fees are earned when the service is performed and are non-refundable unless we state otherwise in writing.

4. Payment
•Full payment (or the deposit and schedule stated in your quote) is required to confirm a booking. Accepted payment methods: credit card, debit, Interac e-Transfer, and bank transfer or wire.
•By providing a payment method, you confirm you are authorized to use it and you authorize us to charge the agreed amount.
•Flight tickets must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
•For packages, the balance due date will be stated on your confirmation. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of your booking, and cancellation charges may apply.
•We reserve the right to verify identity and payment details, and to decline or cancel a booking if we suspect fraud.

5. Traveller information and documents
•You must give us names exactly as they appear on each traveller's passport or government-issued travel ID, along with accurate dates of birth, contact details and any other information we request.
•You are solely responsible for valid passports, visas, electronic travel authorizations (such as eTA or ESTA), vaccinations, entry and exit requirements and any other documents required for your trip. Requirements can change, so please confirm them with the relevant government before you travel.
•Errors in traveller information may result in airline correction fees or the need to purchase a new ticket. Those costs are the traveller's responsibility.

6. Changes and cancellations
Changes and cancellations are governed by the Supplier's rules and by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Airline schedule changes and disruptions
Airlines may change schedules, routes, aircraft or flight times, and flights may be delayed or cancelled. We are not responsible for such changes, but we will help you understand your options under the airline's policy and applicable laws, including the Canadian Air Passenger Protection Regulations where they apply. Compensation and rebooking rights, if any, are provided by the airline.

8. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend that every traveller buy travel insurance covering trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical emergencies and baggage. Insurance should be purchased at the time of booking, because some benefits depend on that. Travel insurance is optional and we are not responsible for losses that insurance would have covered.

9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
•Travel-O-Tangy is not liable for acts, errors, omissions, delays, cancellations, injuries, loss, damage or expenses caused by Suppliers or other third parties, or by events beyond our reasonable control (such as weather, strikes, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions or natural disasters).
•Our total liability to you for any claim related to a booking is limited to the amount of the service fees we received for that booking, except where law does not allow this limit.
•Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, and nothing limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

10. Website use
You agree not to misuse the Website, attempt unauthorized access, copy or scrape content without permission, or use it for unlawful purposes. All content, logos and branding on the Website belong to Flights Scanner Inc. or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.

11. Communications
By booking with us, you agree we may contact you by email, phone, text or messaging apps about your booking. With your consent, we may also send promotional messages, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Alberta, and you agree to try to resolve concerns with us first by contacting Contact@traveltangy.ca.

13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Website at the time of your booking applies to that booking.
